Great AMD/ATI Graphics Cards for bitcoin/litecoin mining  April 9, 2013 – 00:00

I have been studying the hardware chart we shared in other threads and put together a small list of great "bang for your buck" cards for bitcoin/litecoin mining:If you can get hold of or already have any of these older cards, they are very efficient at mining the virtual currency:

5850 = 300-400 kHash/s
5870 = 350-400 kHash/s
5970 = 750 kHash/s

6950 = 400-500 kHash/s
6970 = 500+ kHash/s
6990 = 800-900 kHash/s (actually the best compared to all other graphics cards - it's even better than the current AMD flagship the 7970 = 750 kHash/s)

If you are upgrading and want something more current, these two cards probably offer the best bang for your buck:

7850 = 350-400 kHash/s
7950 = 550-650 kHash/s
