I tried a few of them out, it's much better than mining on my gts 450 at 40mhash.
Ah, that's because nVidia GPUs are horrid for mining performance. You're going to suck more electricty than it's worth. I can do like 60-90 MH/s on a Radeon HD 4770 that I got for like $20 used here. I have tons of other high performance stuff here, but just showing you that a high-end nVidia GPU is destroyed by an old-low-end ATI Radeon HD GPU. The nVidia's are great for gaming, way better even, but it's the shaders in the GPU that are the thing that pushes work through, and ATI's have tons more of them. A GTS 450 has 192 CUDA cores ("shaders[?]") and, for example, an ATI Radeon HD 5970 has 3200 shaders. Looking on eBay.. you can scoop up 4770s for like $20-30 and they have 640 shaders. They arn't the best cards in the world, they are the oldest generation that can actually mine period, but I kind of like them. I did buy a crap-load of Radeon HD 5870s off a guy for $70 each and those have 1600 shaders each.. but that was just some sort of miracle sale, fastest finger auctioning. If you have more questions regarding mining I can help you out, I know how you could make some bucks.
