Logs in a Bitcoin Mining Pool client  August 18, 2012 – 00:00

I have a BTC Guild Bitcoin Mining Pool client installed on my PC and a lot of people has asked on what goes on when the PC processes all the Bitcoin transactions. Well, see below on what the Bitcoin logs spew out…

28 shares sent to the BTC Guild Bitcoin Mining Pool at 5.2 Mhps (5225 Khps). A share on the BTC Guild mining pool equals to about 0.00002168; which means my PC would have to send about 50, 000 shares, just to earn 1 (bitcoin) btc.

Currently it takes my slow PC about 3 months to process 50, 000 shares or earn 1 btc at USD 11 (RM35) . Some people will argue and say that this effort is not worth the time or money. Well in order to earn more btc, you can also add our powerful hardware to your PC, so that processing power can be increased by up to 10, 000 times.

Want to know how to earn more btc? Send an email to admin AT thesmsguide.com and I will tell you about our Super btc hardware that mines up to 48 btc ( USD 528/ RM 1580) a month!

  • How are mining pools formed and how do people fill them?
Apr 15, 2012 by Just okay | Posted in Earth Sciences & Geology

I'm referring to people filling mining pools as part of a process of reclaiming that land.

    • Are you talking about Bitcoin mining? I am not aware of the term "mining pool" being used in any other context

Someone starts a server that tries to solve cryptographic puzzles to get bitcoin …g hundreds of other computers connected to the server and everyone splits the reward. If you want to join a pool I suggest you Google 'slush's pool' and visit his site, then you make an account and download a miner client

How big is a bitcoin ID that could be physically added circulation? How do you add one to circulation, what program is best?

    • Perhaps it's simply that your question is phrased oddly, but what you're talking about is not how bitcoin works. A bitcoin ID is not a bitcoin, it's an address that you receive bitcoins at. Kind of like a checking account …ics cards which has been the standard setup, until recently.

Please read everything you can find on the official bitcoin website, and all the other excellent resources for information on how bitcoin works.

  • Bitcoin mining client for Linux, can anyone help?
Oct 14, 2012 by Palmer | Posted in Software

Okay I've been reading in to Bitcoin lately, decided to start using them yesterday. I have been mining them from the browser, which uses CPU, which is slower than a client and especially slower than a client mining from G … miner. It doesn't matter if it's a CLI or GUI, as long as it works and runs on Linux.

In the meantime I can make small change mining on multiple computers from the browser. ;)

    Thanks in advance.

    • This is the CPU miner I would recommend you should note that unless you have free electricity, cpu mining will always be had at a net loss for you.

Nothing you can do if your graphics card doesn't support the opencl.
